    FAQs

What is the difference between digital marketing and traditional marketing?

Traditional marketing often uses channels such as print, broadcast, outdoor media and events. Digital marketing uses websites, search, email, social media, online advertising and other connected platforms. A digital marketing program should also show how the two approaches can work together as part of one customer-focused strategy, rather than treating them as completely separate disciplines.

Is digital marketing suitable for beginners?

Yes. Digital marketing for beginners often starts with the customer journey, audience needs, content, channel selection and measurement before moving into specialist areas. You do not need to master every platform at once. Understanding marketing principles helps you use tools appropriately rather than learning a tool without understanding which business problem it should solve.

How is artificial intelligence changing digital marketing?

Artificial intelligence (AI) can support research, audience analysis, personalization, content production, media optimization and reporting. However, effective digital marketing strategy still requires human judgement about brand, accuracy, privacy, customer needs and the quality of the underlying data. AI can improve a process, but it does not replace a clear objective or responsible review.

Which digital marketing channels should I learn first?

The right starting point depends on the audience and goal. Search, social media, email, content and paid advertising each serve different purposes. Good digital marketing training teaches learners to select channels based on customer behavior, resources and measurable objectives, rather than using a platform simply because it is popular.

Can a short digital marketing program help me move into marketing?

A short digital marketing program can build foundational knowledge, help professionals add digital responsibilities to an existing role and provide direction for further learning. A career change may also require practical campaign experience, a portfolio and deeper skills in areas such as analytics, content, search engine optimization (SEO), paid media or customer research.
